Hey there, I’m Amy and welcome to Our Faith Filled Homestead!
I’ve created this little corner of the internet from my kitchen table. Over the years, it has become my creative outlet to share information that I’ve learned through growing gardens, raising babies, working hours upon hours in the kitchen, and simply living life.
Growing up I knew that I was a country girl at heart. I would spend weeks on my aunt and uncles farm and knew one day, I wanted my own piece of land out in the open.
Fast forward and life happened. The babies came, money was tight, and the dream of living out in the open went to the wayside.
Today, we have a home in the village of a small Ohio town and live on an itty-bitty half acre of land.
Even so, this hasn’t stopped me from living out my calling of homesteading. We’re growing gardens, chasing chickens, preserving foods, living simply, raising babies, and praising Jesus through it all.
We’re doing what we can, where we are, and sharing how you can do the same.
We may not know how to do everything, have land like many people think you need, and we may not raise all of our food right here in our own backyard. But we will show you how you can do more with less.
With a little planning, hard work, and a whole lot of praying, you can homestead anywhere and live a simple life breaking free from the system.
