Take a look through these beautiful farmhouse kitchens that I have had my eye on for months while thinking about our kitchen remodel.

For years I have been able to spend time scrolling Pinterest just dreaming about my future working kitchen. Is that time finally here? We will see. But I wanted to share some of my inspiration that I have been pinning for quite some time now.

This is a different kind of blog post, but just for fun I wanted to share some of the most dreamy farmhouse kitchens I’ve found to date.

It’s always fun to switch it up and try something new, that’s why today I wanted to share some of the inspiration I am using to design my dream kitchen.

We have wanted to knock out the wall in our kitchen, turn it into an oversized island, and expand the kitchen outward since the moment we toured our house.

Then one night we got to thinking and thought why not just move the kitchen completely around and change the layout of the first floor a bit. After having that revelation I started hitting pinterest hard for inspiration. That’s exactly what I wanted to share with you guys today.

I will point out beforehand that I am a sucker for natural wood, farmhouse sinks, and giant windows over the sink.

Farmhouse Kitchen Inspiration

To give you an idea, this kitchen has a similar layout to what we would like for our kitchen remodel with the wall removed.

I honestly love everything about this kitchen – the windows, lower cabinets, tile, black countertops – *swoon!*

Farmhouse Kitchen Inspiration — Everything about this kitchen screams “home” to me. The ceiling is gorgeous and ties in so well with the floors and color scheme

One of the best kitchens there is! It has the exposed brick, natural woods, a gas stovetop, windows over the sink, and a deep farmhouse sink. *I mean come on!*

The tall ceilings, the color of the cabinets, the real wood floors, all are so swoon worthy to me

Again, the brick, the range, black counter tops with contrasting natural wood tones. I am in love with this kitchen

I absolutely adore this kitchen! The windows over this sink is just glorious. I feel like there is a massive flower garden just outside the door here.

Well, there you have it. Some of the most beautiful kitchens that I have saved on my Pinterest page. If you can’t tell, my taste in inspiration is a bit all over the place so it will be interesting to see what we come up with when we do finally do remodel the kitchen.

What do you find most swoon worthy about kitchens? I absolutely love oversized islands with plenty of space to work on. Giant windows over the deep farmhouse sink. Tall ceilings, rustic wood, and antique furniture in place of modern pieces.
