I’ve been trying to come up with some new snack ideas for the kiddos since Summer break starts at the end of the week. Paired with my new blender, I came up with this super easy, simple, and delicious Very Berry smoothie recipe!

Very Berry Smoothie
With Summer coming I know all too well that snacks requests are going to be through the roof so I’m starting to prepare now!
I love making shakes with protein, peanut butter, and chocolate almond milk. Whenever I do, the kids always ask for some too so it got me thinking I would start making some fruit smoothies.
My kids also LOVE fruit! Any kind, day or night, my kids will eat fruit and we can never keep it in the house long. So I stocked up on some frozen fruit like a giant bag of mixed berries – blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.
I also got this new blender that I am OBSESSED with! I had been using a single serve Ninja Blender for years and finally decided that I needed to upgrade. This one actually came with a 9 cup canister, a dough processor, and a few single serve cups! I am literally obsessed with it and it has already proven to be an awesome purchase. Definitely recommend grabbing yourself one if you’re in the market.
Super Easy Smoothie
As I mentioned before, this smoothie recipe is super simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Frozen mixed berries – I used blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Vanilla Yogurt – Greek yogurt would be the best option
- 4 cups Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- Ice (optional)
Directions:
Add all ingredients into the blender, turn it on, press blend, and leave it on for about 30 seconds. That’s it!
Optional: If you choose to add ice you may want to use the crushing option for a few seconds depending on the size of your cubes. Otherwise pour into a cup, add a straw, and enjoy!
I was able to serve this recipe in 6 child size cups.
This recipe is so delicious and can easily be changed up to work with dietary restrictions.
If you need to be dairy free you can omit the yogurt or use a dairy free version.
This can also be a great low carb or keto option if you omit the yogurt, use an unsweetened milk and add a scoop of vanilla protein!
Well, until next time!
