If you enjoy pork chops, you are going to love this super easy, one pan, parmesan pork chop recipe.

I originally found a recipe for creamy parmesan pork chops a few years ago when I started keto – my first round – and fell in love! However, every time I go to make the recipe I end up not having all the ingredients. So, in true Amy fashion, I threw some things together and altered the recipe for ingredients I always have on hand and it turned out amazing!

Today I’m sharing my absolute favorite way to make pork chops – one pan parmesan pork chops.

These pork chops are so insanely easy to make and it only takes one pan and thats probably why I love them so much. Easy, delicious, minimal clean up – what else can you ask for!?

Ingredients on hand

I love recipes that I can just pull the meat out of the freezer and not worry about having to go shopping for fancy ingredients so that’s why I came up with my own version of this recipe.

Now, with this technically being a keto recipe, I wanted to share that this is keto but you wouldnt know it. What I do for my family is pair this with a veggie – usually green beans, and then a carb like potatoes or noodles. The parmesan sauce that the pork chops are cooked in is so insanely delicious you can add it right on top of whatever you are pairing the chops with.

Parmesan Pork Chops

This recipe makes 8 bone in pork chops.

I like to start with a fat melted in a cast iron dutch oven. Usually I will do a mix of butter and olive oil but when I made this for the blog I used beef tallow and it worked beautifully.

I will season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and then brown each side in the dutch oven over medium heat, about 3-5 minutes each side.

Once they are done, I set them to the side and do another batch until they have all been browned.

After browning all the pork chops, I then remove them and set aside, leaving the bits in the bottom of the pan for added flavor.

Next I reduce the heat and add in the remaining ingredients to make the sauce.

  • parmesan cheese
  • freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • sour cream
  • cream cheese
  • chicken broth
  • onion powder
  • Italian seasoning

Once the ingredients are melted down and a slightly thick consistency, I add the pork chops back into the pan. Using a ladle I will be sure to cover all the pork chops with the sauce so that it has a chance to soak in the flavor while it is in the oven.

Lastly, I place a lid on the pan and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes.

To store, you can place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
